Digital Photography & Imaging : Project 2
PROJECT 2
REFLECTION :
In our 2B, we were tasked on creating a poster based on a quote of our choosing. This assignment was harder than it looks because I had too juggle between asking opinion from 2 lecturers while keeping order. It was fun to test out my option and seeing what really suits the posters. I didn't realise how much editing a photo can change the overall vibe of my poster, the difference from the before and after was very uncanny.
Reflecting on the past few weeks, I’m honestly surprised by how much I’ve learned—I didn’t realize it until I took the time to summarize everything. The slides and videos were very clear and served as a helpful guide whenever I was unsure. I’m really glad to have had the opportunity to learn more about photography principles, Photoshop techniques, composition, and so much more in this class.

This striking poster features the thought-provoking quote, "Wonder if you look both ways when you cross my mind," rendered in bold, elegant typography against a backdrop that combines the metaphorical and the literal. The design evokes the feeling of a fleeting thought—one that you can’t quite grasp, yet feels just within reach. The backdrop might is an image of the sky to represent the height of ones imagination can go hen they have the right inspiration. The background and bold lettering create a striking visual contrast, immediately drawing the viewer's attention to the central message. The inclusion of delicate flowers in the design adds a touch of softness and beauty to the overall composition. The flowers, with their vibrant colors and intricate details, create a sense of tranquility and hope. They serve as a visual metaphor for the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment. The open-ended question posed by the text encourages viewers to reflect on their own habits and behaviors, prompting them to consider whether they always take the necessary precautions.
